Privacy Policy

Magnate App LLC (“MAGNAT3,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MAGNAT3 platform at magnat3.app and our related applications (the “Platform”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you create an account or use the Platform, we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number (which we may verify by sending a one-time passcode), and password. If you are a Provider, we also collect your business and service details, industry, availability, pricing, and profile photo. When you enter an address, we collect location information using Google Places. You may also provide a date of birth, photos, listings, reviews, and the contents of messages and support requests.

Bookings and payments. We collect details of the bookings you make or receive and related transaction history. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card or bank account numbers; Stripe collects and processes that information under its own privacy policy, and for Providers receiving payouts, Stripe collects the identity and banking information required by law.

Information we collect automatically. Like most online services, we automatically collect device and usage information—such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, actions taken, and dates and times of access—using cookies, similar technologies, and analytics tools.

What we do NOT collect. We do not read your text messages, and we do not access your device’s SMS or contacts. Any phone verification is performed by sending you a one-time code.

How We Use Your Information

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Platform and its features;
  • create and manage your account and verify your identity;
  • facilitate bookings, payments, and payouts between Customers and Providers;
  • communicate with you about your account, transactions, and support requests, and send service and (where permitted) marketing messages;
  • personalize your experience and measure and improve our services and marketing;
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, to remember your preferences, to analyze how the Platform is used, and for advertising and marketing. We use analytics providers (which may include Google and Mixpanel) to understand usage. We also advertise MAGNAT3 through third-party advertising platforms (which may include Google and Meta) and use their cookies and pixels to measure and target our marketing campaigns and to show you relevant ads on other sites and apps. Depending on where you live, this activity may be considered “targeted advertising” or a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain privacy laws (see Your Privacy Rights below). You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of interest-based advertising through tools such as Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).

How We Share Information

We share information:

  • with other Users as needed to facilitate a booking (for example, a Customer and a Provider can see the information needed to complete a service);
  • with service providers that process information on our behalf, such as Stripe (payments), hosting and infrastructure providers, Google (maps, sign-in, and analytics), and advertising and analytics partners;
  • to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of MAGNAT3, our Users, or the public; and
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money.

Third-Party Services That Access Your Data

To operate MAGNAT3, we use trusted third-party tools and service providers. These providers have access to the information they need to perform their functions for us, and they are permitted to use it only for that purpose and under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. They include:

  • Stripe — payment processing and Provider payouts; accesses payment, identity, and transaction information.
  • Google and Firebase — sign-in and authentication, hosting and database, maps and address lookup (Google Places), and analytics; accesses account, device, usage, and location information.
  • Mixpanel — product analytics; accesses usage and event information associated with your account or device.
  • Advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) — advertising and campaign measurement; access device identifiers and activity through cookies and pixels.
  • Anthropic (Claude) — powers AI-assisted features; when you use those features, the content and data you submit to them is processed by Anthropic to generate a response.
  • Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers — store and serve the data required to run the Platform.

We enter into data-processing agreements with these providers where required by law. This list may change as our services evolve; we will update this Policy accordingly.

Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

GDPR (EEA / UK). If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

CCPA / CPRA (California). If you are a California resident, you have the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, to delete your personal information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of certain targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights—including to opt out of targeted advertising—contact us at Magnat3@magnat3.app. We will verify and respond to your request as required by law (generally within 30 to 45 days).

Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at Magnat3@magnat3.app and we will delete it.

International Users

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Platform and update the “last updated” date above. We may communicate material changes through the Platform.
